Welcome to the homepage of Bill Barrell Books. As suppliers of the stamps and postal history of Great Britain specialising in the line engraved issues of Queen Victoria, we also carry an extensive and continuously changing stock of literature to support collectors.

Information can be a collector s best friend; it is certainly one of a dealer s major tools and a good library is essential for the enthusiast. Collectors are not always aware of the range of titles available in their chosen area. If you would like advice on worthwhile publications to consider, do please contact us. We will not recommend any old book or those we have in stock, but those that you will find most useful. Frequently the best titles are out of print and difficult to obtain this is an area in which we can be of particular assistance.

We have divided up our stock into key collecting areas, and you will find lists on the following pages covering important collecting areas. Don t forget that major auction catalogues, as well as illustrating the collections of great collector, can also provide a wealth of background information and detail helpful to collectors. All are offered subject to be being unsold, postage and packing in addition.
